Family of 4 left behind

Hi, my name is Kristina and I am fundraising for my dear friend Ashley and her three children.

On the morning of March 2nd, 2023, Ashley received the devastating news the father of her children, Colton Sr., had died by suicide. He took his life just 2 days before his 32nd birthday. Leaving behind their three children Liliana (9), Colton Jr. (7) and Jackson (3). This was unfortunately very shocking, difficult to explain at such a young age, and most of all – heartbreaking for his family.

Colton and Ashley were separated but working towards a healthy co-parenting arrangement for the kids. Unfortunately life has taken an unexpected and horrible turn and they are now forced to cope with what has happened.

Suicide forces countless emotional repercussions upon the loved ones left behind. It is a roller coaster of anguish that you have no choice but to ride. Ashley is still in the raw stages of this process and is doing her best to pick up the pieces and hold things together for the kids.

While trying to come to terms with the loss of Colton, Ashley is also scrambling to reorganize her life around a single income with no paternal support now. This causes added stress and uncertainty during an already unimaginably distressing time.

Ashley and the kids have family and friends around her for support, but to help provide immediate financial support, we have organized this GoFundMe. We’re hoping that it will help alleviate some of the immediate financial burden that she’s currently experiencing from this tragic and unexpected news.
