Everything we’ve built over the last four years points to one goal: making veterinary care free and accessible for cats. Cool Cat Stuff, our Amazon Live show, the content, the websites—all of it exists to fund, support, and eventually scale Vet Van Fleet, a nonprofit initiative focused on delivering no-cost veterinary care for cats through mobile and community-based programs. That’s the endgame. Always has been.

Right now, we’re in the unglamorous middle part. We’re launching CoolCatStuff.com while simultaneously laying the legal groundwork for Vet Van Fleet. We had investors lined up who dropped out at the last minute. Instead of shelving the project or watering it down, we did what we always do: we figured it out ourselves. That meant teaching ourselves how to build and deploy full websites, learning how to code, automate workflows, and manage infrastructure, and using AI tools and web platforms instead of hiring teams we couldn’t afford. We’ve kept costs absurdly low by doing everything in-house, but even when you bootstrap hard, there are still unavoidable expenses—small monthly tools, filing fees, legal registrations. We’ve been covering these costs out of pocket while pushing forward, and right now they’re stacking faster than we can comfortably carry.

We’re raising funds to cover the immediate, essential costs that allow us to launch CoolCatStuff.com properly, legally establish Vet Van Fleet as a nonprofit, protect the brand and mission, and keep the technical infrastructure running. These funds will cover six months of essential backend costs, giving us the stability to fully dedicate ourselves to launching Vet Van Fleet and Cool Cat Stuff as a nonprofit. This money does not go to salaries, luxury spending, or anything unrelated to the mission. Every product review, livestream, and piece of content is designed to fund and support free veterinary care for cats through Vet Van Fleet. The nonprofit takes time to legally establish, but the work to make it possible is happening now. We’re building this transparently, in public, without pretending it’s easy or free.
