Veterinary Service Trip to Greece!
Shelter Medicine faculty, staff, and students from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois will be volunteering their time and services to help homeless animals on the island of Rhodes, Greece through Paideia's Community Outreach Programs.
The team will provide physical examinations on all shelter animals located at the Rhodes Animal Shelter, diagnostic testing (skin cytology, blood smears, UA, CBC/chem), sterilization surgeries, behavioral assessment tests, preventative care, and any treatments within our means.
Each participant is paying for their personal and travel expenses. However, there is a great need for financial assistance in order to purchase veterinary supplies and items requested by the shelter.
All contributions are tax deductible to the maximum allowed by law. A wish list was also created on Amazon.com. If anyone would like to donate needed items, please visit: http://a.co/hVpmQL6
Thank you for your support!
