VETLANDS Non Profit Cabin for Veterans

Vetlands is an IRS Section 501 (C) 19 tax exempt Non-profit organization. The organization started in 2006 to assist Veterans and their families in escaping the stresses of everyday life by vacationing in a cabin located in Hardy County WV. The cabin is dedicated to CPL Joshua Wilfong of Walker WV who was KIA in 2004 in Iraq while serving in the United States Marine Corps.

Vetlands control changed hands in 2022. The board now consists of seven Veteran Volunteers that were already members. There were some challenges in transferring the business to its current board which inadvertently effected the ability to fundraise as an organization.

We are now ready to start fundraising to maintain, improve and in the future grow Vetlands. If you are able, please donate to ensure that Vetlands remains successful and can continue to serve those that have and continue to serve.
