Veterinary Care for Precious the Dog

Precious the dog was seen heading towards a highway

in the dark on Monday night, 11/4. Several of us drove to the site to try to find her before she was hit. A kind woman was able to catch and secure her. She was emaciated and in

very rough shape; her eyes were so sad. She stayed overnight with one of the searchers and the next day was transported to the other person that came to help, me, who committed to fostering Precious and taking her to receive vet care.

There were multiple people on several platforms that offered to donate to the cost of veterinary care, which is why I created this. I did not want to create a GoFundMe before knowing what the approximate cost would be, since it could vary so significantly depending on her results; therefore I took her to her appointment and paid her bill out of pocket. I will provide the receipt and anyone is welcome to verify the visit and payment with Top Notch Veterinary. Any additional funds will be applied to the ongoing purchase of food or veterinary care.
