Today my friends Jackie and John Wyatt lost their beloved 5 year old dog Bruno. Bruno managed a quick escape from the yard while Jackie, her son and I were busy working in the free food pantry that she runs out of the carport of the home she rents in Shoreline Washington. Jackie gave chase in her car hoping to bring him home. Unfortunately Bruno was hit by another car before she could get to him. The driver of that car drove off refusing to take any responsibility or at the very least help as was needed. She managed to get Bruno to the animal hospital but his injuries were too great to save him and he died. The care provided by the vet and the cremation for Bruno will be close to $1,500.00. John has a good job but Jackie is only working part time and preparing to work even less as her son Taylor, who has Down's Syndrome, will soon have necessary spinal surgery and require her constant attention and care. The Wyatt's are superheroes in their neighborhood helping feed many people in need with their home based Free Food Pantry and outreach to some of the homeless in the area. Please donate if you can and if you cannot, as times are tough for many, please share this with those who you think might be able and inclined to help. Thank you.
