My name is Ryan Gallo, I am a combat wounded and recipient of The Purple Heart, and now retired Air Force Veteran. I am a fulltime student and Professional Woodworker.
I am a family man, A father, a husband and I am willing to give my time to bring supplies and my time to fully support the people at the Standing Rock Reservation and stand with other veterans to do what we can PEACEFULLY to help the Standing Rock Tribe to defend what is theirs, by being another person standing on their side, a positive, encouraging and peaceful supporter.
I have currently recieved through donations 20 winter jackets valued at $9,000 and 22 military care packages valued at $800-$1,000, total of items donated is somewhere around &10,000 in donated items.
I have started this page as requested so for those who wish to donate monetarily (strickly to donate every item or this money raised to people at Standing Rock, I will save all reciepts of money spent and have signatures of people who recieve money strickly for items to be used at the Reservation for the veterans and or Native Americans to help with food, water, supplies, firewood.)
I am in no way using any of the money donated for myself and as stated above will be able to sghow reciepts for money spent on this trip, some of this will be spent on fuel only for the fact that I am bringing a lot of supplies to these people at the reservation.
When I signed up for the military and took the Oath of Enlistment it meant a lot to me, for my family who has served, and family that is serving I joined to make a difference by helping others. This is why I am a veteran, I love helping others when I can, even if it means starting this page and driving 14 hrs from St Louis.
Any monitary donations will be greatly appreciated, I will be writing things down that I learn while there, taking video, and pictures to share with everyone. Thank you so much for your time and donation, they will appreciate it very much !
