Veterans Village of Highland Park

VETERANS VILLAGE MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to provide a sanctuary, housing, counseling, and training for veterans. Veterans Village will allow veterans a second chance to reclaim their lives.  But there is also a need for educational facilities in Highland Park; Veterans Village will partially assist in a solution to this need.  Our motto is serving those who served America.   

CURRICULUM

·        The power of credit and the discipline to establish and leverage it for Veterans and 11-12 Highland Park students and residents.

·        Skill trades (all trades will learn dry walling) electrician, plumber, welder, carpenter, Bee Keeper and honey production, and mason. Students will also be in an apprenticeship program.

·        Entrepreneurship

·        Basic computer concepts ( Windows, Word, excel, power Point )

·        Cyber security

·        For Highland Park Students the basics math, science, ENGLISH, Ture History.

 

 

For none veterans and none Citizens of Highland Park a one-time contribution of $25

Is required to participate in our training program.
