Veteran's Fight For Life (Is Over)

My fellow brother in arms and best friend lost his battle to cancer this year on June 6th. I was able to fly home for Stephen's memorial service. He was truly an amazing man of God, loving father, public servant and role model for many. His widow, Delicia Priest, has access to this GoFund Me and could really use the continued support and prayers!

My name is Nathan Morgan and I'm raising money for my best friend, and fellow veteran, Stephen Priest and his family. He served his country in the Army deploying to Iraq and the Middle East then came home and became a sheriff's deputy.

 

When his local church pastor retired and the small church was about to close its doors He stepped up to become the new pastor. He coaches softball and gives freely most of his time to his community.

 

He and his wife have 3 young children and are now faced with the most difficult challenge yet. Recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer fighting for his life in a hospital bed over a hundred miles from home. I can't imagine what questions his kids are wondering or the emotions of not knowing what exactly is wrong with dad.

I literally live on the other side of the country (NV vs. SC) and raising $ was the first thing that came to mind.
