Veterans seeking new career

I help Veterans who are trying to start new careers, specifically as writers of fiction and/or non fiction. My contribution has been limited to editing their books pro bono or for small fees. The finished books need promotion or advertising. Since most are novice writers they cannot afford advertising campaigns and some have problems even meeting normal daily expenses.
My goal is to establish a fund to help them promote their work and if possible provide temporary financial aid to those who may need it.
One particular book series is Detective Danny Acuff available on Amazon, written by a former Marine who is making a strong effort to start anew after military service.
The fledgling writers would greatly appreciate any support.
As for myself, I am a Vietnam Vet, retired deputy, journalist, editor and now would like to help myself and  fellow writers distribute the fruits of our labor and provide entertainment, education and perhaps some wisdom in our stories.
