Tim is a Disabled, Quadraplegic, US Navy Veteran who has endured 33 years of suffering from Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The nursing home he had been in since November of 2022 almost killed him. He was starved & lost 44 pounds. He developed bedsores that are so bad that now his tale bone & nerves are sticking out through his skin & exposed. He was sent to the hospital with sepsis & a 104.9* fever in January 2023. Upon release to his 2nd nursing home, he was given fluids through his PICC Line which caused him a Cardiac Event sending him to the hospital a 2nd time. Upon release from that hospital, we were able to find him a Medical Group Home that can handle the level of care Tim needs. However, due to the severity of Tim's bed sores, we had to call 911 & have him readmitted to a hospital. Tim has suffered unthinkable amounts of pain during these past few months but he's a fighter & wants to go back to his Medical Group Home. He's now in ICU, in an ACUTE Wound Care Hospital to help heal his bedsores. Unfortunately, the unthinkable has happened & his (soon-to-be) ex-wife has stolen his VA Payment for March 2023 from his bank account. She is a heartless woman who could care less where he lives or if he dies. We can't let him go back to the horrors of a nursing home facility. Please help us keep his room at his Medical Group Home.
