So, it's about 2500 to get a service dog, trained with equipment. The VA covers the vet bills, but doesn't fund the actual animal and training. Usually the VFW will sponsor a veteran, but our local VFW is apparently "tapped" out. I'm a veteran with severe PTSD, and along with my therapist, I believe a trained service animal can help me cope with my issues more productively, giving me a chance at "normal" again. Hopefully giving my kids their daddy back, and my wife her husband. Any help towards the cause would be appreciated! Thank you for looking!
