Navy Veteran and Patriot Brother, Father and friend, Tim Kilbourn, has been battling Stage 3 Lyme Disease for many years. He now has Neurological damage and is undergoing tests for cardiac complications - which may lead to him needing a pacemaker. He battles daily with pain and fatigue. The Lyme disease has basically taken over, and limits his capability to work at full capacity.
The cost of the Lyme disease treatment is $1,800 per week, plus loss of work, is the major issue - as well as expenses for doctors appointments - that are not covered by insurance.
