Help Me Save My Home from Foreclosure

Hi, my name is Jacques, and I’m reaching out in a time of deep need.I'm a proud United States Air Force veteran of 9 years with one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. After my decorated military service, I dedicated my life to serving others once again — this time in the fire service, where I’ve proudly worked for the past 9 years.

But now, despite everything I’ve given to protect my country and my community, I’m at risk of losing my home.

Due to the ongoing wildfire crisis across the US this year, the insurance company that once covered my home — like so many others — has pulled out and canceled my policy. With no affordable or accessible insurance alternatives, my mortgage lender moved to foreclose on my home.

I’ve exhausted every option I could think of to stop this. I’ve reached out to banks, legal services, state programs — and nothing has worked. Time is running out.

This GoFundMe is my last hope to keep a roof over my head and avoid becoming homeless.

I’ve worked hard and invested years into this home. To walk away now would mean losing everything I’ve built — financially and emotionally.
