Hi, my name is Brodie. I am a former Australian soldier and now an actor. Since leaving the defence, I have been working in the film industry. One thing I have noticed is the lack of films depicting the struggles our veterans face when returning home and discharging from the military. I believe this film will show the Australian public what our veterans and their families endure, highlighting the significant sacrifices they make and how much of a toll they take on our veterans, this is a conversation that should still be in the public eye. Below is the synopses of the film. Drawing from my own journey as a veteran and the heartfelt stories shared by fellow veterans, this film is a poignant exploration of the often-unseen struggles that veterans endure. While their bravery on the battlefield is celebrated, their battles at home are frequently overlooked. This film seeks to shine a light on these profound challenges, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who serve.

Title: No One Special Genre: Dark Dramady

This story follows Brian Smith, a veteran combat medic who has just returned home from Afghanistan. Upon his return, he discovers that his life is in complete disarray. His wife has been unfaithful and left him for his best mate. To make matters worse, the courts have denied him access to his children, deeming him a dangerous individual due to his military training. As Brian grapples with these devastating events, his mental health deteriorates, leading him down a dark path of addiction, medical issues, substance abuse, and isolation. Driven by an intense longing to reunite with his children, Brian becomes willing to go to any lengths necessary. As he faces a series of harrowing events, the toll they take on him pushes him further into darkness.
