Veteran Faces Cancer: Needs Your Help

I am a veteran. I was based at Camp LeJune and I now have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I need to have a surgical procedure done and VA will not honor the expense, because it is not one of the eight diseases they will honor for Camp LeJune exposure. With medicare advantage, I have a $5,000 deductible to pay and I am not sure if they will pay what Medicare does not, so I am asking for help. I live on a limited income and I will be in the hospital for 5 to 7 days, then recovery for about 2 weeks plus. During this time, I will not be able to work to supplement my social security, so I am at odds whhat am I going to do?
