22 veterans commit suicide a day. This week the Coats family became one of those 22 families that is now mourning the loss of One of those veterans. Our 30 year old, Son, brother, & uncle. Not because he wasn’t loved, and not because he didn’t exhaust all the limited resources provided by the government but because PTSD that are Military men and women experience every day is real. Every day we wake up and we say we live in America because we are free but what we have to realize is somebody paids the cost for that freedom we feel. The misconception about the funeral and burial services for veterans is that all funeral expenses are paid for in full unfortunately that’s not true.
