Hi, my name is Omar Frometa Sr and I am raising funds for my friend and brother Robert Delaney.

Rob, as we all call him, has dedicated over 25 years of his life protecting the city of Chelsea and it's citizens as a Chelsea Firefighter. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, Rob was involved in a potentially career ending severe head-on auto collision while off duty. Rob has already endured multiple surgeries, with more on the way, and a lengthy hospital stay with a long road to recovery is expected. It's hard to believe that just one week ago Rob was able to walk under his own power, and in an instant the basic functions we all take for granted were taken away. The uphill battle on the road to his recovery will also be shared by his loving family, and we are attempting to lessen their burden during this tough time.

At this point in his career Rob and the Delaney family should be planning for a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement. Unfortunately they, as with many families who have been thrust into situations such as these, will now also be tasked to plan around unexpected financial obstacles. The Delaney family deserves to soley focus on loving, supporting, and healing each other during this difficult time. The Chelsea Fire Department family is pulling together to support our brother, and we humbly ask you to consider making a donation in an amount you deem appropriate towards the support of Rob's road to recovery.
