Veteran and Scout leader with 9 children has CANCER. Devoted father to 9, Scout leader and Coast Guard veteran, diagnosed with CANCER!!! His oldest son recently became an Eagle Scout.
Matt will be unable to work at his job of many years at Ford as a collision mechanic due to the urgency of the treatment needed to save his life. Matt is a wonderful example to us all of what it means to be a Father, a community leader, and a Great American having served in the Coast Guard to protect us all.
Matt and his devoted wife of 24 years, Catherine, are devoted and very involved parents to their children.
Matt has been the Cub master for multiple Cub Scout packs using his many talents and passion for Scouts to recruit volunteers and serve kids.
He will need months of aggressive treatment to fight this devastating disease of Cancer.
His treatments as well as the needs of his wonderful family and children are urgent.
All of the blessed donations will be used for treatments, and family expenses.
Any donations received, once Matt has beaten this disease, all remaining funds will be paid forward. ALL extra donations will be gifted to a Cancer cause.
