Emergency Vet Bills for Zulu

On December 17, 2017 at approximately 7:30pm, multiple armed subjects forced entry into the home of a Virginia Beach Police Officer. While inside the residence, the suspects encountered Zulu, the family Pitbull. Zulu did what he was trained to do, and defended his family by confronting the suspects. Zulu chased the suspects from the residence, potentially saving the lives of the officer as well as his daughter, who were both home at the time of the break in. Unfortunately, as Zulu was defending his family in their own home, one of the suspects fired two shots, both of which struck Zulu. Zulu was rushed to the Blue Pearl Vet Hospital in Virginia Beach where thankfully, he survived and is curently recovering from his injuries. Unfortunately, as many of you with pets can imagine, this has left the family with a tremendous financial burden. Zulu is part of a family that includes a police officer, a nurse, and their young daughter. This is a family that has dedicated their lives to helping people and giving back to the community. This has been a very stressful ordeal for the entire family and any donations made will help them tremendously and be greatly appreciated by their family, as well as the entire Virginia Beach Police Department. Thank you!
