On January 9th I was shoveling snow from my driveway when a man driving a pickup truck with a plow on the front intentionally swerved and hit both of my blue healers on the side of the road. I ran after him waving my arms and he didn't even touch his brakes to slow down or stop.
My female, Annie, had to stay overnight at the vet due to fluid buildup in her chest cavity and head injuries.
My male, Biggs, broke his left humerus in 3 places and is getting surgery to screw and plate his leg back together.
This emergency is ending up costing more than we expected and we cannot afford the medical treatment that our dogs need on our own.
