Hello!

This is an more or less an emergency. :(

My cat is only 11 years old, and I urgently need to take him to the vet again.

On Friday, he had diarrhea and blood in his stool. I went to the vet on Saturday, but she only did a brief examination and gave him some medication. (Said it's against the bleeding??)

Today is Monday (and a public holiday…), and he seemed a bit better for a short time, but this morning he vomited blood.

I’m posting the first bill here. The money was borrowed, because I’m unable to work due to health reasons, and my monthly income barely even covers my own food.

Tomorrow I’m going to a different vet to have X-rays, an ultrasound, and blood tests done, but I don’t have the money and don’t know where I’m supposed to get that much from…

I would really appreciate any help. I’ll add the new bill as soon as I have it… if I can somehow manage to come up with the money, since vets here don’t offer payment plans.

It's more than I expected and if I have something left I can also finally do his teeth removal.

Update 2:

The new vet said my cat has heartburn and gastritis.

He’ll have to take medication for now so his stomach can settle down, and he also needs special food.

I’m going to use the money for that, since I can’t really afford it otherwise right now. So, thank you again! It will help a lot.

But if it doesn’t get better, I’ll have to go back in a few weeks so they can take a closer look. The vet didn’t want to give unnecessary meds just to calm him down for X-rays, etc.

So I have ca. 100 Euro extra per month for his food. With your help I can pay it for the next 8 months. So, help is still appreciated.

Update 3:

He likes the food so far! (My other cat also seems to prefer this one and she is a very picky one)

I’m still financially dependent on support. I’ve already spent 400 Euro on the vet (and getting there, since I don’t have a car and taxis are expensive) I already took him to the vet back in January because he had diarrhea then as well. I’ll look for the invoice over the next few days.

And I don’t know how I’ll be able to afford the expensive cat food in the long run.
