Hi, I'm Diane and have just had to put down both my 18 year old cats.
One we suspect had cancer and I booked her in to the vet for her to sleep and find peace. My other cat hadn't been her self for a couple of weeks so I took her with me also to be checked over. The day of the appointment (8th June) she wasn't her normal self at all.
So it was a massive shock to have to have her put to sleep also. She had suffered a stroke and had possible kidney problems.
I am reaching out because I don't have this kind of money and every penny would help.
I live alone and work full time. I'm not entitled to any help with costs.
It was £360 purely for the euthanasia. I desperately want their ashes., this is another £180 each!!!! The fees they charge are extortionate. It's £80 each just to be cremated with a load of other poor cats all together, but I would love to have their ashes returned to me. They have been such a big and important part of my life and have been support for me during down times with mental health.
I rent my house I don't want to bury them here in case future tenants redo the garden area.
They have been my world for 18 years, i am totally heart broken, I hate to ask for help but every penny would help and be forever appreciated. I just want my babies with me. ❤️
