If you have ever had the good fortune of meeting Mel, you know that she is one of those people who gives to others without ever expecting anything in return. Her work in creating a pet food bank to help individuals be able to continue to feed their furry family members during times of financial difficulty is a testament to just how selfless this lady is. Her support of local animal rehabs and charities is second to none and her love of animals is boundless.

One of Mel’s dogs was seriously injured last week and requires extensive surgery to recover. The current bill is estimated at over $15,000 and will likely be higher as he will also require rehabilitation after his surgeries.

We would like to be able to help Mel with this substantial financial cost and show her the same level of compassion and caring that she has shown the pet community by raising funds to offset these costs.

Mel is one of those special souls who would never ask for help herself so we are asking for her.

If you can contribute financially it would be so greatly appreciated. If you can share this fundraiser so that it can reach a broader audience that would also be wonderful.

Let’s show Mel the boomerang effect by helping to support her through her current situation.
