TRAJIC story. My friends have been hit hard by vet Bill's recently with first their pomeranian needing surgery in her back from a ruptured disc. She was falling over and falling down, in pain. Was supposed to be around 3-3500 but 7,000 later she is doing well, not to mention 3 trips to the coast.
Now a sudden and very tragic accident where their doberman of 7 month old, Daisy Duke and 2 yr old lap cross, Hershey Kisses, were run over. Both play and sleep together all the time. Who knew this could happen. They are devastated and heartbroken. They rushed them in to a vet in Salmon Arm last night and had to take them to Kelowna for emergency stabilization. Almost lost Daisey Duke to shock and inability to stabilize. Both have good internals at this time but require surgery. Daisy has multiple pelvic fractures and a broken femur, and Hershey has a broken pelvis. My friends, whom I am posting this for, help out anyone who needs it, often at their expense. At the drop of a hat they will be there to help. They ask for nothing. They save horses and help out a rescue organization. They need help now. They sold everything they could to pay for Sophia's surgery and now this. 10-15,000 bill coming for these 2 now, and that's an estimate at this time. I am trying to help them not go bankrupt. Their hearts are so big. Anything would help.
