Vet care costs for our late dog, Najib
Yesterday, I lost one of my best friends, Najib. He suddenly fell ill with acute kidney failure, and despite our best efforts we couldn't save him. He would have turned six next week. It all happened so fast and unexpectedly and we're just devastated. We loved him deeply and our house feels so empty without him. No one can replace him. He was a unique and beautiful soul. He was also an absolute weirdo. He was ten times funnier than anything I've ever produced.
As you can imagine, the vet costs added up fast. We tried every option available to us despite the costs. We were ready to shoulder the burden no matter what. Now that it's over, we're left without our friend and a massive hospital bill. I'm only aiming for a portion of the costs because this already feels like too much to ask. We managed to cover most of the costs by digging deep into savings, but we could use some help getting back up on our feet and trying to return to "normal." Reducing the financial stress caused by this tragedy will go a long way.
