I absolutely hate the thought of doing this, but I have run out of options. 

If you know me, you know my dog, Tootie, is my life. She is my absolute best friend, the reason I'm late to work even while being remote, 7/8 of my photo gallery and my precious little girl. 

She was unfortunately on the receiving end of an attack from a much larger dog on 9/26 and had to get emergency surgery later that day. She had some serious lacerations to the head, back and chest that resulted in a fair amount of sutures and temporary drains to avoid infection and further complications. 

Though her progress was slow, she seemed as though she was turning a corner until 10/4 when she became unresponsive and began seizing. Her vet worried about possible neurological damage with symptoms pointing to a potential brain bleed. 

She's currently undergoing a treatment for the potential brain injury and is in the animal ICU for close observation.

As I'm positive everyone can imagine, it has become incredibly costly, even after 2 initial down payments. I cannot fathom losing her, but I am also dwindling my savings every time the emergency vet calls with an update to her treatment plan. If you're willing and able to offer support in any way, we would both be forever indebted. I'm doing everything I can to remain positive, but we could use some spiritual help as well. Thank you ❤
