Vet Bills For My Furbaby Minerva

I'm going to pause donations for now to see how she does. I really got lucky with people helping me & you guys are just amazing angels. Thank you so much for helping my sweet Minerva Baby. I will pause this so I can monitor her in hopes she doesn't need anything more serious. So far she is moving around but not much. I think the medication she recieved at the Vet helped astronomically. We have to wait & see when she goes potty for internal bleeding & so far she is eating a little but no potty yet. She is trying to meow to go outside to go potty but I'm sure she'll figure out the litter box one way or the other. It's been so hard with no sleep constantly worrying about my baby. All of you would just love her if you known her in person. She's a beautiful cat inside and out. I really appreciate everything u have done for her. Every little bit counts. Thank you so much. God bless each and everyone of you who chose to help my furbaby. I can't thank you enough. I'm praying she'll heal at home but she'll still need atleast one more vet visit to get looked at. Update. She went in to see the vet. He seen she was visibly trembling and wobbling. He says she forsure is hurt and beat up from being hit by a car. She was not needing xrays because he didn't suspect her of anything broken after examination. He claims she will not eat for awhile and her bladder is small. We have to monitor her for internal bleeding so if she goes potty and there's blood in it, we need to call an bring her right back in. He gave her pain meds in a shot then said to bring her home and just keep an eye out. If she makes it I'm never letting her out again. Idc how many times she goes potty on my floor or anywhere I'm not letting her out again. This will not happen again. She will learn to use a litter box one way or the other but I'm praying to God she makes it. Vet can't do much more than that right now. I haven't seen any change in her demeanor. She curled up under the bed in the far back when she got home from the vet. She's tired & just wants to sleep. I'm praying she'll pull through this tragedy I will never be the same without my babygirl. Well know more tomorrow I'm not ready to say goodbye to her yet I'm not even close.

Hi, my name is Marissa & this is my sweet babygirl Minerva. She was abandoned as a kitten from what I've heard & found us almost two years ago this July. She is an amazing animal. She was on the streets all of her life with no one to care for her until she came by one day & I knew we weren't letting her go. She has become my best friend & the best emotional support animal anyone could ever have. She is my child.

She won't be strictly indoor no matter how long and hard I tried to keep her in. She refuses and will scream at the door & never use the litter box. Outdoors was her home & where she feels the most at home. I wish she'd stay inside but it wasn't possible.

Early this morning between 1 & 3am, she was hit by a car. No one stopped, no one helped her. We call her every hour to try & get her to come inside, especially at night. Last night she wasn't coming in no matter what we bribed her with. We do this all the time. Since it was raining all day, she couldn't actually enjoy the outdoors, so she wanted to last night when it slowed down. At 3am, we called her to come inside & she walked from under our car towards the door, wobbling. She was covered in mud and she's so swollen. She will need surgery for everything that's wrong. I cannot lose her, please. She is the reason I'm okay today mentally. She helps my family so much & I cannot stress enough how important she is to us. She means the world to my family & I cannot afford a vet on my own & desperately need some help for my sweet girl. I need her to be okay! I have no parents to lean on since they passed when I was a teenager & when I'm upset, Minerva knows just what to do to make me smile. I know this is going to be pricey but I can't just give up on my sweet girl. She is an animal but she has always been treated like our child. She's so spoiled she gets anything she wants & then some. She is by far the best animal I've ever had that entered my life. She's so loving, protective, gentle, & a very respectful cat. I am desperate for help right now. I've never made a GoFundMe account but this is my baby & she needs to feel loved & know we're not giving up either. She's a sweet gentle soul who will get mountains of catnip after she survives this tragedy. I would appreciate it if you helped me share this post.
