Vet Bills for Elsa
Donation protected
My sweet pup Elsa recently had life-saving surgery that was complicated by a post-surgery infection. She was hospitalized twice in a a 2 week period.
She had a foreign body obstructing her small intestine, blocking her digestive tract and threatening to break through the intestinal wall. She is the light of my life and there was no hesitation in saying yes to the emergency surgery. Unfortunately her vet bills have racked up to almost $6,000.
I got Elsa in December 2018 to help with some serious mental health issues. Her presence assisted with post-trauma dissociation and depersonalization, as well as quieting previously unbearable suicidal ideation. She has been a rock in this past year - through multiple mental health hospitalizations and therapy. She is a registered Emotional Support Animal and I owe a huge part of my current stable state to this 20 pound bundle of love.
In January I quit my job and went back to school at ACC. I'm living on loans and budgeting carefully -- I cannot begin pay this by myself. After encouragement from friends, I've decided to publicly ask for help. I've never done this before but it's for my beautiful pup. Please donate if you can, no amount is too small. Even just a few bucks will keep the momentum going and encourage others to donate. Please share our fundraiser and send lots of love to Elsa for her ongoing recovery. <3 Thank you so so much.
