Vet Bills for Bingo

Donation protected
On March 7th I woke up to dog vomit in the living room. When Bingo wouldn’t eat, I knew something was wrong. I took him to the vet and they sent him home with directions to bring him to CARE if he got worse, as well as to start anti-nausea meds and antibiotics. When we woke up on the 8th, he had a fever of 105 and had labored breathing. When I tried to have him go outside, he refused to get out of bed. I rushed him to CARE where we later learned Bingo had aspiration pneumonia. He got better, and then he got worse. On the 10th his oxygen levels were very low so the vets at CARE checked his lungs, only to find out that there was fluid in them that wasn’t there when he got there. After sucking some of the fluid out, they found out that he has a  Pyothorax (pus in the chest cavity outside of the lungs). When looking under the microscope at this fluid they found out that there were white blood cells and bacteria in it. He is now in a critical care unit at CARE for what they consider a very severe disease.

Bingo is 2 years old, in great health, and is so happy. This was all out of nowhere. On the 6th he came with me to work at Dogtopia and had a great time playing with toys and doggy friends all day, and 48 hours later he’s admitted to the vet hospital for pneumonia. The vets have estimated $8,000-$10,000 for the overall cost, and there’s still a likelihood he will not make it. Any thoughts, prayers, or money are appreciated.

I will update everyone on Bingo’s [email redacted].bingo

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.
