Vet bills for Bender's family dog Blazer

Blazer is the family dog for Janson Bender and his young sons who live in Fyre Lake.  On Friday April 16th, an adult neighbor shot this mini-Aussie, and lodged a bb bullet in the dog's heart and collapsed it's lung as well. Upon further x-ray, it was determined that the dog had been shot at before and had a bb also lodged in it's belly.

The neighbor has admitted to authorities that he shot the dog that day and has infact shot it before. Janson has other family pets that will now need x-rays to see if they also have bb bullets in them. Janson also had a family dog pass away in the fall that he now wonders if it died of a bb gun. As we know, vet bills are expensive for regular maintenance but due to the heinous act of this individual, mulitple and highly expensive procedures have resulted. Fyre Lake in Sherrard, IL  will be having a bake sale this Saturday from 9-11 April 24th, if you would like to donate or buy baked goods. You can also donate on this page. Janson has mentioned that any money above the vet bills will be donated to the Animal Emergency Center of the QC. The suspect has been charged with felony aggravated animal cruelty and is currently out on bond.
