Vet bill costs, any amount of donation is valued greatly

Hi, I'm Jasper, and Autumn is my cat in the pictures.

She is the sweetest cat, despite having claws she couldn't hurt anyone even if she tried, as it stands, she's the best thing to happen to me. She's been by my side through the darkest of my moments and now it is time for me to be there for her in hers.

These past weeks have been very stressful as her left eye has quickly and alarmingly pooled with blood, and took her to a vet as soon as I could; at the moment, her current medications are helping and has produced promising results, but they still need to do more tests to be certain there is nothing worse going on behind her eye which I’m certain will be more than I can afford.

Through the tests they’ve run so far, we've ruled out a number of potential causes but have discovered that she's in the 2nd stage of kidney disease, bordering on stage 3. Which is unfortunately irreversible, but a special diet can help prevent it from getting any worse.

I have covered CAD $1500.00+ out of pocket for the tests and medication and still requires further testing, that I am sure will be higher than what I can save for further vet visits that are quickly adding up, leading me to believe the only other solution would be having to surrender her, so she gets the proper care I know she deserves. After having her in my life for nearly 12 years it would be heartbreaking to lose her.

I do not like to ask for help, in fact this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I am desperate to save enough before her next visit to keep us from parting ways and still meet her needs. (Unfortunately, my monthly income just isn't enough).

I am unable to put into words the gratitude I would have for any help in keeping Autumn in my life. I love her so much and even having to consider surrender as an option has been incredibly painful.
