Vet account fundraiser

As of recently we have taken in several special needs animals that have required specialist vet appointments, surgery’s and imaging. 

Since the launching of Rise Up Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation in October of 2020 we have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed over 240 cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens and farm animals. 

Our vet account is currently sitting just below $4000 and we have to close our doors to new incomes until we have our funds under control. 

A break down of a few of our special cases are below; 

Hoover- requiring a specialist appointment at Animal Eye Care to diagnose his condition now known as Persistant Hyaloid Artery. 

Benson- requiring surgery to repair the damage and infection of his testicles being pulled from his body after being hit by a car leaving him incontinent. He also required a dental at time of surgery. 

Georgia and Koala- after hours emergency vet visit to stabilise and treat their critical condition. 

Holly- a chicken who was left on the side of the road with both wings broken in several places and a spinal fracture leaving her paralysed. 

Although this is only several of the many cases we have taken on requiring more depth of vet care, all animals arriving into our care need basic vetwork to gear them for adoption and without our funds under control we cannot continue rescuing.
