Hi everybody~ It's about that time! Babys first surgery with commercial insurance and you know what that means! Deductibles, hospital fees, and out of pocket maximums!

I got my surgery date, it's mid-july, and while I'm gonna be missing 2 coveted river weekends with y'all, this is something that cannot wait any longer. I got quotes from the surgeon, the hospital, and the anesthesia team. This surgery is gonna hit my deductible and bang my out of pocket maximum, so that's what I've set the goal for this fundraiser to. After the surgery I'm gonna see if I can pursue financial assistance through the hospital and explore other options like that. (If you know nonprofits that give trans folks financial assistance for surgeries, pls lemme know as well!)
