Voyageurs D&D After School Program

Hello! My name is Tom Lichty, and I am a paraprofessional at Voyageur's Expeditionary School (VES). I've also been a dungeon master for the past 16 years. I recently had an opportunity to start a Dungeons and Dragons group--the sole after-school program at VES--and I am beyond excited to share with a new generation the joys of roleplaying.

Much to my surprise, the initial response to the club's inception was more than expected! I have 12 eager students ready to roll up some characters and take on whatever I can throw at them. Unfortunately, I do not have the supplies necessary to facilitate a group of this size. I would like to be able to provide the school with all the necessary tools (dice, boards, books, etc.) to keep the program running for years to come.

D&D has always been special to me. It helped me learn to think outside the box and helped get me into reading; a subject which I struggled with for many years. I want nothing more than to provide the students of VES with a constructive way to spend their afternoons and to provide something that will encourage them to maintain their grades and excel towards something more.

Any extra money will go towards VES' Parent/Teacher Organization to help fund student trips and help start other extracurriculars. I thank you for your time and hope you find it in your heart to help us out!
