Very Rare Disease Destroying Eric

Eric has recently been diagnosed with a rare, perplexing yet devastating disease called Paraneoplastic syndrome. This once strong and independent 43 year old was forced to close the doors to his business, Trade Zone, due to this disease. It's been a long, hard road to finding the cause of his dramatic health decline.  

This photo, taken in January of 2015 is the day Eric bravely ran into a burning home and pulled an unconscious elderly woman from her home, resuscitated her and gave her a few extra days for her family and friends to say goodbye before she lost her life.  Within 2 months after that fire, he started falling periodically, having bouts of confusion and memory issues.  We now see, in hindsight, that this disease has been destroying him from within for many years but we now realize that the day he went into that burning home was the catalyst for this disease to thrive and take over his brain and body.  

Paraneoplastic syndrome is a rare disease that steals a persons abilities, both physically and cognitively.  He now struggles to do even the simplest of daily tasks and relies on others to help him with his daily needs.  

We are hoping that any financial help from others, will help provide more freedom for Eric by getting him things such as an electric wheelchair, a larger vehicle to transport him and to perhaps be able to create a little financial cushion for his family.  This disease will eventually take his life but he wants to make the best of the little time he has left to enjoy with his wife and 3 younger children.  Any help will be greatly appreciated and may you be Blessed ten-fold for your generosity.
