My little one-man show Verses @ Work has been selected to be a part of the National Arts Festival in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown) South Africa! But there are so many production and travel costs. And I need your help. I'm raising funds for the next couple months, before the big trip in late June. Your help will make it possible for us to mount the show, and facilitate Hip Hop Theater workshops in and around the festival, for youth and developing artists. In appreciation of that help, I've decided to make our award-winning film 'Verses @ Work' available for a limited time. I've also decided to make some unreleased MUSIC available. It has been difficult to let go of so much of this work throughout the years, but now is the time. And in support of the show going overseas and connecting with the artists, youth, and citizens of South Africa? That's the kind of synergy in which I believe. I hope you enjoy Verses @ Work the film, and/or selected tracks from the journey depicted in the film: Dionysos tracks. Malik Work tracks. Make any contribution, and I will send you some unreleased original Malik Work or Dionysos music!
Contribute $25 or more, I will send you a private link to watch the film for at least the next month.
Contribute $50 or more, and I will send you the film AND 20 or more FREE unreleased downloads of recordings that have never been released professionally. I will tailor the collection of tracks to you personally. Everyone will likely get a different combination.
Contribute $1,000 or more, and I will facilitate my Hip Hop Theater workshop for you and/or the organization of your choice. We'll get you or your students creating and performing your own stories, with rhythm and rhyme to boot.
