Veronica Vasseur's End-of-Life Expenses

On Christmas morning, Veronica Vasseur died unexpectedly due to stomach cancer. She was first diagnosed in August 2019 and, despite best efforts to aggressively treat the cancer, her health quickly deteriorated. Due to the unexpected and untimely manner of her death, Veronica was not able to attend to her end-of-life arrangements. At the time of her death, she was without substantial savings or assets, and she leaves behind a home that requires significant repairs, as well as other bills related and unrelated to her illness.


Her only son, Chris, lives in California and has used all of his vacation/sick time to care for her in her final days. He has also used his remaining savings to help cover her initial end-of-life expenses. To help ease Chris’s financial strain, we are raising money to help Chris to pay for his mother’s funeral costs, the care of her beloved pets, and her other end-of-life expenses.
