A week ago my sister Vero had surgery to remove a small mass from her breast. We had been told that it was probably nothing. Our family had no history of cancer and we were astounded when sadly, a week after her surgery the results showed cancer.

Vero is a young single mother of 4 amazing kids. For the past 6 years she has fought hard to take charge of her life and to give them the best of her. With support of her family she has managed to give them a life full of fun adventures, laughter and most important LOVE. She has made every second count.

This next chapter in their lives will be one of the hardest but Vero is determined to fight for them. To be there as her kids grow. To watch them fall in love and maybe have their hearts broken. To see them go to college and get married. Have kids and become a grandmother. Not for one second has she doubted her ability to stay strong, to fight this, and beat it.

As her family we are also determined to push forward and get her well. We have vowed to stay positive and help her fight this disease every step of the way. We ask that you all do the same and with your support this fight will be hers to win.

We don’t yet know what this fight will entail but as some of you have asked how you can help I set up this account. Your donations will be used to cover any unknown medical cost as well as helping her fiancially since she may need to stop working or cut back her hours.
