Mi nombre es Cyndy y mi prima es Verónica Roldos Arosemena. Vero es una joven mujer guayaquileña que anteriormente era llena de vida. Se logró salvar su vida, pero la misma nunca más volvió a ser la misma para Verónica. Debido a esta experiencia terrible, desarrolló el síndrome de sensibilidad química múltiple, es decir, tiene reacciones ahora extremas a muchas cosas que se encuentran en el ambiente, sustancias químicas comunicas que se usan en forma cotidiana. También conocido como intolerancia ambiental idiopática, este síndrome es crónico y difícil de tratar.

Fue diagnosticada con neuralgia del trigémino. El doctor nutricionista, luego de muchas pruebas para encontrar elementos a los que no tenga reacción le ha prescrito una dieta rotativa de alimentos orgánicos de 4 días en la que no se repite ningún alimento o sus derivados para que no se cree resistencia. También recibe terapia diaria de dos horas de oxígeno porque las pruebas de sangre demostraron que tenía la mitad del aire que necesitaba en sus pulmones. Tanto en la clínica como en el departamento donde les tienen, existe un ambiente sano y sin olores. No se usan químicos, no hay wifi, no se permiten celulares, ni perfumes, ni lociones, ni diarios, ni fragancias.
