As a community member, I was overwhelmed with sadness when I heard of the horrific car accident February 26th on Highway 1.  The next day I received an email from a dear friend asking for prayer for one of her closest friend’s family – a survivor of the crash, 19 year old Veronica Antonelli.   My heart dropped.  Like many of you, I prayed for everyone involved, and was then moved to help however I could.   Knowing the expense of surgeries, ICU and home care, we have started this Go Fund Me account.  Please consider the needs of this young girl and her family as they embrace her unexpected fate.  Let’s show our support and encouragement to help them deal with this horrible event.  That accident could have been anyone of us, or as is with Veronica, someone we love.

Veronica is a kind, vibrant, hard-working girl.  She graduated Half Moon Bay High School in 2014 and is a third-generation Coastsider.  We want to help her heal and become the person she is meant to be.  Veronica worked at The Flying Fish Grill and was a Barista at AJ's.  She has also enjoyed being a local babysitter for many years. Veronica started actively pursuing a career in elder care, and had just received the application package for Huddleston Care facility in Burlingame the day before her accident. Veronica was researching schools in the medical field that would support the elder care career she wanted to begin. It will be a long uphill battle to recovery; she needs all the help and support she can get.

Your kind generosity is greatly appreciated.
