Help Veronica Williams - Rare Heart Problems

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sean Williams, and I am raising funds for my daughter-in-law, Veronica Williams and my son, Sean Williams.

Veronica Jean (Ensminger) was born in 1995. Six months later, Sean Williams was born. By the time he was a toddler, he was showing off for her, and she was less than impressed with him. Fast forward to 2013 when Veronica needed a last-minute date to prom, and Sean gladly accepted. Sean, in turn, took her to his prom. They began dating and were married on October 4, 2019. They are a perfect couple; loving, caring, and always making each other laugh.

On March 9, 2022, Veronica experienced shortness of breath and a rapid heart rate, which we now know were symptoms of heart failure. Veronica was rushed into surgery to stabilize her heart and deliver her baby girl at 32 weeks. Veronica then underwent multiple open-heart surgeries. She was diagnosed with myocarditis and was initially given less than a 50% chance of survival. Miraculously, she was released from the Cardiovascular ICU just two weeks later. A couple of days after that, she was released from the hospital and was able to meet her baby girl for the first time. Although the baby is still in the NICU, she is doing very well in the hands of the NICU professionals.

The prayers and support of friends and family, in addition to the care she received from the medical professionals at St. Elizabeth Healthcare and the University of Cincinnati Health have been amazing. We believe God performed a true miracle by His power and through the many wonderful medical professionals who worked tirelessly treating Veronica.

First of all, the family still needs your prayers as the doctors say it will be a marathon, not a sprint, for Veronica to recover fully. However, we trust that God will restore her just as He healed her.

Second, both Sean and Veronica are employed full-time but are now needing to take extended absences from work. As a result, Veronica will be unable to work for an unknown amount of time, and Sean needs to be with Veronica full-time to care for her. Additionally, time spent in the ICUs by Veronica and the NICU for the baby will result in costly medical bills that insurance might not cover completely.

The funds raised will be used to assist in covering expenses due to lost wages and insurance bills. Thank you for any prayers and support.
