Veronica Lynne Ruiz was born on a Saturday, on the 11th day of the 11th month in the year of our lord, 1978. She was the second born of Roberta Ann Redman and Reanaldo Ruiz. She also leaves behind her two children, Alexander Joelle Ruiz and Autumn Gillian Julia Ruiz.

Such an incredibly giving, nurturing and loving soul could not be easily swayed to do anything other than what her heart and mind decided on. Despite her struggles with Lupus, she still fought so hard and managed to raise, with help from her gracious tough-as-nails mother; two smart, beautiful, and wonderful souls. Her will to stay alive was tested throughout all of her life and the battles she faced were the toughest ones every single time, but never once would she ever back down. She persisted and also achieved amazing life goals. Things such as finishing high school despite having a child at the tender age of 16, becoming a registered CNA, and graduating from her trade school as a fully certified massage therapist.

The bravery of this young woman to keep faith, determination and the most unrequited amount of just pure love that spawned from her mind, heart, and soul is unprecedented, yet unmatched, and caused nothing but everlasting triumph in our hearts and a truly spectacular mother whose love knew no bounds and carries on forever. The greatest sacrifice she may have made was for us and we hope she knows that she is worthy and deserving of all that desirable love shall always be returned and respect always be thought of in light of merely just her name, the truest and strongest fighter, champion of life.

She simply was the best. The definition of success, despite any faults. Her battle-hardened heart and resolve should always continue to be respected, honored, and deeply and dearly cherished.

The money donations given here will be going towards the payment of the Funeral Services. We have our set goal but anything, anyone is willing to donate in honor of my mother would be a gift to our family in these dark and difficult times. A goal of a few thousand allows for some wiggle room in case of any other payments or surprise fees, and is just for use by the family as a whole. It's hard to ask for help in the middle of a tragic loss but I know many of you considered my mother like your own and we are all just family, siblings under our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Veronica was lucky enough to have a loving and wonderful family, a Mother, a Sister and a Brother-in-law, and a best friend and co-parent who extended their arms to her children during one of the hardest parts of their lives. She was a giving soul and touched the hearts of many children whether it be friends of her son or her daughter, she built relationships and impacted so many lives and showed people from some of the hardest backgrounds how a mother's love can change your life for the better. Veronica had her struggles in life but loving the people who found their way to her was never one of them.

I, Autumn Ruiz, daughter, and Author/Organizer of this GoFundMe, along with Chiron A. Finn (Co-Author and editor, and close family friend) earnestly request support in this difficult time on behalf of my mother and my family. I do hope this shows our collective gratitude to those willing to offer both financial and emotional support. Anything that we can receive during this hard time, even if it's just 5 bucks to the cause (for friends of the family without great $$$), is going to matter in the long run for just managing the stress of having to go through the unbelievable pain of losing one's parent. I thank you all for your support and any help you're willing to give the family.
