Veronica Broussard’s Medical Emergency
My name is Rachel Wiggins and I am doing this on behalf of the family. On 2/16/21 our dear friend Veronica Rebollo Broussard experienced an unexpected and devastating aneurysm which led to a major stroke. She is currently in ICU at Lourdes awaiting a neurologist’s decision on whether she will need brain surgery or not. Veronica is the sole care provider for her sister Paola who has Down syndrome, and her sole source of income was both as an amazingly epic housekeeper and furniture re-doer extraordinaire!
If you know her, you know she is the FIRST to show up to be your cheerleader. She will scream the loudest. And omg that whistle. She will let the whole world know that she is there to support you and she will give it 10000%. She has 4 beautiful children that she loves with her whole heart. Laura, Lacey, Logan, & Lane. She is the life of the party and the first person to volunteer to help you do ANYTHING you have going on. She is the friend you hope you have. She has already had a rough few years and yet remained there for everyone around her. Now it’s our turn to be there for her. Not only will her medical expenses be outrageous, she will need rehabilitation, therapy, you name it. In addition to her inability to work for who knows how long. I know things are tight for every right now, but no amount is too small. When she wakes up from all of this, I want money to be the least of her worries. If you can help, please do. She would give her last dollar to help one of us. God bless you guys and I will post updates as I have them.
