Vero Nichols VS Breast Cancer “Beyond Obstacles”

Hello everyone, my name is Juliana Tait and I am raising money for my best friend, also known as my mother and father, Vero Nichols. Not only does she mean everything to me, but she's also a mother to my 12-year-old brother, a daughter of a wonderful grandmother, and a wife of the luckiest man on earth to have a woman like her by his side. She is strong, brave, hardworking, dedicated to her family and friends, and most importantly, she never gives up on anyone or anything that life throws her way.
Last year in 2021, she was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. TNBC is an aggressive, overwhelming, less common type of breast cancer that is rare and affects about 13 in 100,000 women each year.
Her tumor was removed back in November of 2021; a cancer port was then installed in her body in order to receive 16 treatments of Chemotherapy soon after. Her treatment not only consists of 16 rounds of chemo with three different chemo medications but will then be followed with radiation and a few more surgeries afterward that are unfortunately necessary. Her daily life has been affected tremendously despite the most common side effects of losing hair, fatigue, joint pain, and blurred vision. For example, her driving has been limited and her daily activities as well. Her work which consists of helping foster children all over Arizona has been compromised in order to rest and recover from such overwhelming side effects and it does not only cause a stressful mindset, especially when you have a son who’s only 12 and needs the most from you, but an enormous financial worry. Cancer is not easy, nor cheap.
Today I reach out to you all to ask for support for this beautiful human being that doesn’t deserve to suffer the way she is and deserves to live for many more years. I can’t imagine a life without her in it. My family and I are nowhere close to ready to say goodbye. I want her around for the day I walk down the aisle and for her to meet her grandchildren. She has the strength to fight but there is no certainty she will survive. Therefore I will do my part in praying and asking for financial help. If I can’t cure cancer then maybe I can at least take some worries off her mind. This begins with raising money for her treatments so that she can focus on her health and not what bill comes next. Stress does not only take a toll on your mental health but physically as well. Help me make her journey a bit lighter than what it is now. Look into your hearts, anything helps, because if the tables were turned, whether known personally or not, I can guarantee she would never hesitate to do her part as much as she possibly could.
Because she is dedicated to her friends, family and children. But most importantly She is very passionate about helping anyone one in any way she possibly can.
What I love the most about my mom is that never complains about her cancer, her positive attitude and her smile motivate so many of us that live one day at a time and never ask why, why me? Instead she sees it as a message from life, a wake up call. A challenge is life so that she can complete her mission before she goes. Experiences, people that cross your path are never coincidental. Everything happens for a reason.
I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read this and helping us out in any way possible that you were able to offer; we highly appreciate your support and are the utmost grateful, God bless you all.
