In Loving Memory of Vernon Tattersall.

Our friend and colleague Vernon passed away suddenly on Friday the 14th of November, his passing has come as a huge shock to everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Vernon was part of the SSE family for 20 years and was an experienced jointer who always went the extra mile to keep the lights on for his customers, Vernon more recently found passion in supporting our new joiners and passing on his jointing knowledge to help them in their journey. Vernon was a hugely popular character in the West London Depot and across the region, his colleagues describe him a grafter who always kept people safe and would also enjoy a bit of banter, he was also known to enjoy his lunchtime at work and managed to cook up some tasty treats for those who worked with him.

As we grieve this unexpected loss, we want to come together to support Vernon’s family during this incredibly difficult time. All funds raised will go directly to the family to help with funeral expenses and any immediate needs as they navigate the days ahead.
