Vernon Nelson

It is with heavy hearts that we update you on Vernon's condition. As you are aware, Vernon has been battling cancer for over two years, and his battle is coming to an end. He has taken the time to meditate on his last wish, which I will share with you... my husband, Jeremy (son in-law of Vernon) has helped me create this go fund me page. 

Vernon was born at home, surrounded by his family on September 9, 1955. He intends to make his exit in the same way; surrounded by his family on September 9, 2023. While we all know the timing may be a little off, you can be sure that when Vernon sets his mind on a project, he focuses on the details until it's "Picture" perfect. We are currently helping him make these arrangements possible.

He has not left us yet! We welcome your comments below and we will be sharing your goodbyes with him in his final days.

Your donations will help his funeral expenses and if we can raise enough, may provide a little padding for his beautiful wife, Raquel.

From the Nelson family: We are blessed that you had a relationship with Vernon, our dad and husband. You hold a memory of him which makes us know he will be remembered. He is a gentle, patient, and caring man, and if there is one thing we know he did pass on was to treat people the way that you would want to be treated. Please continue to pass on this love that he shared.
