Vernon Indoor Community Skatepark

Good day.  My name is Nathan Fisher.  Myself and other passionate members of the Vernon skateboard community along with the Vernon Rec Center are organizing to have a free indoor skatepark in the Vernon curling rink from June to September.  This park will be a friendly, welcoming, non intimidating and inclusive space for beginner to expert level skateboarders.  Being indoor it will be safe and comfortable giving protection from rain and potential smoke hazards.  We will be offering skateboard lessons and allotted times for beginners, a ladies night, as well as open skate  times for all levels but we need your help.  We are raising funds for materials to build wooden features.  This includes three grind/manual boxes, a pyramid structure, quarter pipe and a steep bank. Any amount of donation will be so appreciated and go a long way.  Thank you for your consideration and support.
