My son Verne Martin was taken from us on January 29th, 2025, while he was riding his motorcycle to visit a friend. He would be the first to tell you that he had his struggles with drugs for many years. But he finally did it. He was 5 years clean. He became a recovery coach and helped many on their road to recovery. He found a job that he loved, trimming trees with Morris Tree Svc. The higher he could climb, the freer he felt. He loved his job; he was a hard worker. And the one goal he had was caring for his daughter, Reese. He wanted to do right by her.
He wasn't there for her for so many years because of the addiction. He felt he had a lot to make up for. But even during his addiction, he would call to speak to Reese. He found God, he was happy with his life. And in the blink of an eye, he was gone. The automobiles did such damage. We were unable to say goodbye to him. We were all so devastated and in shock from this senseless tragedy. We knew the one thing Verne would wish for is
that his daughter be taken care of and have a chance to succeed in her life. Reese's desire is to study veterinary medicine. And her dream car is a pink Volkswagen Bug.
Please donate if you can to help Reese on her journey.
