We’re building our community’s easy-to-use platform to share kayaks, paddleboards, and more. First year of Insurance ($10,000): A critical foundation for any platform connecting people is securing essential business liability insurance. This significant cost ensures that Rentaverse itself is protected from potential lawsuits, safeguarding the platform so this valuable community resource can operate reliably long-term. For full transparency: This insurance protects the platform, not individual users or the gear being rented. Users will agree to clear terms and a waiver, understanding the shared nature of the platform and accepting the inherent risks and rewards. Marketing Costs ($1,500): Igniting connections! This funds targeted local outreach, community events, and online efforts specifically in the Burlington area to bring our first gear owners and adventurers onto the platform and get the sharing started.
